Recruiting new Trustees
We are recruiting additional Trustees to join our management board.
Candidates will ideally have a knowledge of the Scottish new music scene as well as a background in either finance, fundraising or marketing.
We are also seeking a candidate with secretarial skills.
This is a voluntary position but reasonable expenses will be paid.
We meet 4 times a year, usually in Edinburgh.

Aedín is a Dublin-born composer living in Edinburgh. Having achieved a distinction in her Masters in Composition for Film and TV from the University of Bristol in 2017 she continues to write music for screen media. She also has a degree in Music and English Literature from Trinity College Dublin and spent a year studying Musicology in the Sorbonne in Paris. She has performed with various orchestras, choirs and ensembles in Ireland, France, and the UK, as well as working as a freelance restaurant pianist and self-employed piano and flute teacher since the age of 17. After graduating in 2017, Aedín worked as a Trainee Orchestra Assistant for Britten Sinfonia chamber orchestra in Cambridge. She then moved to Edinburgh to take on her current position as the Orchestra Librarian for the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.

Chris Hutchings is a composer based in Edinburgh, with a keen interest in bringing modern classical music to a wider audience, and also what music can accomplish socially and politically. His works have been performed by the BBC Singers, the Edinburgh Quartet, and amateur and professional choirs all over the world. See hutchingsmusic.co.uk for more details.
Stacy Rowan is the Scotland regional manager for the leading blood cancer charity Bloodwise. She has been involved in deciding Scotland’s fundraising strategy for Bloodwise. “I am an influential fundraiser and have a great deal of experience in developing everything from volunteer strategies, to corporate relationships, and supporter and stakeholder journeys. I have a massive passion for new music and have previously worked within various roles across the music industry including managing bands, organising tours/launches, press and so forth and managing artist liaison and production at some of the UK’s best known festivals. I also have a degree in Psychology and live in the Midlothian countryside.”
Kitty Porteous is a Relationship Manager for Music with Arts Council England. Further biography to follow
